Tooraloo Farm Stay

Tooraloo Farm Stay is the visionary creation of master fine artist Concetta Antico, world famous for her gift of Tetrachromacy, the ability to see 100 million more colours than regular vision! It’s set just moments from the heart of beautiful Byron Bay, on what was once the McSwan Family’s generational dairy farm. An original 1900s Federation Farmhouse, it still stands as a testimony to golden days gone by. Locals and visitors alike claim the property boasts some of the best views in the Shire. Perfectly perched on a slight hill, it gazes straight down the heavenly Myocum Valley, making sunsets breathtaking, while enjoying cooling sea breezes from the east.

Our Proprietress

Known as ‘The Colour Queen,’ Concetta Antico is a master oil painter and the world’s first artist with scientifically confirmed tetrachromacy – a rare genetic mutation allowing her to see up to 100 million colours, and making her hyper-coloured art sought-after globally. She is also a passionate arts educator, having taught more than 25k students in the United States the joys and techniques of oil painting!

Having recently returned home to Australia after a decades-long successful art career in California, she lives on the estate in her private Federation home and houses her art there and in her Visionary Villa!
