A Fantastical Phoenix From The Ashes…

Loaded with rustic hippie chic, the artistically designed 100 year old Barnstay is lovingly called “The Old-Timer”. Conjured as only a fine artist with uber imagination can, the Barnstay arose from a refurbishing of the farm’s old machinery shed. Whilst Concetta added every modern convenience, she still maintained its vintage charm by employing an eclectic mix of heritage timbers, shutters, tin tile, & antique doors & windows in its restoration. The result is a fusion of  fashion with functionality which creates its heritage magic! The Barnstay boasts a cosy dwelling feel while adorned with found ephemera & unique vintage finds.  Concetta’s original artwork throughout is yet another of its otherworldly enchantments, you can visit her magnificent gallery too during your stay!  Color, creativity & comfort punctuate this rare & whimsical historical domain…

Tooraloo Farm Stay is the visionary creation of master fine artist Concetta Antico, world famous for her gift of Tetrachromacy, the ability to see 100 million more colors than regular vision! It is set in the HEART of beautiful Byron Bay on what was once the Mc Swan Family’s 100 year old original dairy farm. An original 1900 Federation Farmhouse it still stands as a testimony to golden days gone by… Locals & visitors alike claim the property boasts the best views in the Shire, perfectly perched, it gazes straight down the heavenly Myocum Valley,  making sunsets breathtaking!

It’s vintage flair is punctuated stunning antiques that incorporate part of the fantastical dream of Concetta, its proprietress and custodian. Her unique style exemplifies “Modern Muse Meets Heritage Charm”, creating a venue that must be seen to be believed. Tooraloo is a truly ethereal experience.
Its pristine farmlands provide 12 serene acres of evergreen pastures. A NEW in-ground 9×15 meter swimming pool, rustic cabana, gas BBQ hut , fire pit, tea house, farm animals, ancient fig tree portals, rose, native & citrus gardens, are just a few of Tooraloo’s treasures!

No other property like it exists in the region. It’s fortunate geographical proximity to EVERY major town and attraction makes it the ultimate Byron Bay accommodation and event destination. On a clear day even the Byron lighthouse can be spied from the entertainment area, which is a real treat!  A skip off the M1 turnoff, it is a mere 6km from Byron’s Main Beach, Mullum, Bangalow and Brunswick, & only walking distance to the  famed Three Blue Ducks – “The Farm”, a morning’s walk to their fresh-baked goodies at “Bread Social”.

Come stay a while at Tooraloo, witness the beauty & feel its enchanting energy, you’ll never want to leave…
